GIBSON. - Peacefully, at Waverley Nursing Home, Galashiels, on Monday, 30th September, 2013, in his 94th year, Captain John Campbell Gibson, MRCVS, of Galashiels, dearly beloved husband of the late Jen Rennie, dear father of Iain, much loved grandfather of Aline, Peter and Rory and great grandfather of Amelie, Ewan and Dorothy. Funeral service at Melrose Parish Church, on Monday, 7th October, at 11.00 am, followed by interment in Wairds Cemetery, at 11.45 am, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Donations, if desired, will be received on retiring from service for Waverley Nursing Home.
