HALDANE. - (Stocksfield) Peacefully after a long illness fought with great courage and bravery on 9th February 2013, aged 75 years, George, dearly loved husband and best friend of Rita, much loved dad of Mark, Julie and Michael, dear father-in-law of Clare and Keiko, loving grandad to Rory and Joe. George will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Would friends please meet for service in St. Mary Magdelane Church, Prudhoe on Thursday 21st February at 12.00 noon, followed by a cremation at West Road Crematorium, Newcastle. Family flowers only please, a retiring collection will be taken at church in aid of Cancer Care and The British Heart Foundation.
