McDONALD. - Peacefully at home in Glenfield Terrace, Galashiels, on Wednesday 15th January 2014, Captain John (Jack) McDonald Rtd 1st Btn 1 KOSB, beloved husband of Jean. Much loved dad of Duncan, Stuart and Gillian. Loving father-in-law, papa, and brother to his family. Funeral service will take place at Trinity Church, Galashiels on Thursday 23rd January at 10 am, thereafter to Borders Crematorium for 11 am. All friends are welcome. Family flowers only but donations, if desired, to Erskine and Help For Heroes on retiring from the service.
