MELROSE. - Suddenly but peacefully, at Borders General Hospital, on Wednesday 1st October 2014, John, aged 87 years, of Sunnedene, Glenfield, Galashiels, dearly beloved husband of Sheila, much loved dad of Lynne, June, Heather and John, dear brother of Jim and the late Ella and Margaret and loving grandfather to his family. Funeral service at St. Peter's Church, Galashiels, on Thursday 9th October, at 11.00 am, followed by interment in Eastlands Cemetery, at 11.45 am, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, will be received on retiring from service for Cancer Research.
