NIGHTINGALE. - (Galashiels) Peacefully at Borders General Hospital on Saturday 5th January 2013, Bert, aged 85, beloved husband of the late Isa, much loved dad, father-in-law, papa and great papa, a special friend of Anna. The family would like to thank doctors and staff of Ward 10 Borders General Hospital and Waverley Practice, Galashiels for their care and attention. A service will be held on Thursday 17th January at Borders Crematorium, Melrose at 2.00 pm, to which all family and friends are invited. Family flowers only please, but donations on retiral from service will be received for British heart Foundation.
