PURVES. - Peacefully, at Borders General Hospital, on Saturday 3rd January 2015, after a short illness, Tom Purves, aged 91 years, of Galashiels ( former Gala R. F.C President) dearest loving husband of the late Myra, much loved father of Neil and Judith and their partners Anne and Judy, and dear grandfather of Duncan. Cremation at Borders Crematorium on Friday 9th January, at 3.00 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to staff at Gala Nursing Home and Borders General Hospital for their care shown to Tom.
