THOMSON. - Peacefully, in the compassionate care of the staff of The Knoll Hospital, Duns, on 15th March 2014, Davena Jean "Vena" (née Lountain), aged 95 years, of Earlston, beloved wife of the late Douglas, dearest mum and friend of Verina, special mother-in-law of Danny, proud "Granny Doug" of Grant and Claire, Philip, Michael and Sarah, dear sister of Jessie, Cousin of Wynne, a special aunt to Trish and John, Dave and Louise, Sheila and Harry and Margo and Frank and a dear friend. Funeral service in Earlston Parish Church, on Monday 24th March, at 2.00 pm, followed by committal in the churchyard. Friends please accept this invitation.
