THORBURN. - (Galashiels) Passed away peacefully after a short illness at Borders General Hospital on Thursday 31st October 2013, Effie, aged 85, beloved wife of the late Norman, much loved mum of Alan and mum-in-law of Maggie, a devoted granny of Jenny. A service will be held on Friday 8th November at Co- operative Funeralcare Home, Galashiels at 12.30 pm thereafter burial at Eastlands Cemetery at 1.15 pm, to which all family and friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please.
