MACK. - (Tweedbank) Rosemary and family would like to thank all relatives and friends for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards and flowers received on their sad loss of Robert Wightman, who passed away on 25th November 2015. Also thanks to all who attended the service and so generously contributed to the retiring collection for Arthritis Research U.K. Very special thanks to Rev Leon Keller for the lovely service and prayers at the private cremation and also to Milton Cashman. Over the years of his long term illness Robert was lovingly cared for by all at Braeside Medical Centre, many exceptional carers, consultants, doctors, nurses, porters, ancillary staff and ambulance staff at the Borders General Hospital, Western Infirmary and Royal Infirmary. Not forgetting special friends and relatives who visited throughout the years - too many to mention by name. Please realise that he would not have been able to remain happily at home until his last illness without this individual support. Many thanks also to D. Hardie & Son, funeral directors, Galashiels for their kind guidance.
