RUSSELL. - Peacefully, on 5th July 2016, in Melrose, Thomas (Tom) CMG, CBE, much respected retired Governor of the Cayman Islands, eldest son of the late Col. Thomas Russell OBE, MC, predeceased by his wife Andrée and their only son Malcolm. Service of Thanksgiving, at Melrose Parish Church, on Thursday 4th August, at 2.00 pm, thereafter to Borders Crematorium, at 3.00 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, for The Royal Commonwealth Ex-Services League, will be received on retiring from service or may be sent to Thomas Brown and Sons, Funeral Directors, East Port, Melrose TD6 9EE.
