JONES.- (Darnick, Melrose) Peacefully, at Borders General Hospital, on Thursday 8th December 2016, Tom, aged 69 years, formerly of Hetties, dearly beloved husband of Iris, much loved dad of Brian, father-in-law of Jane and proud and loving granda Tom to Lucy. Cremation private followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Melrose Parish Church, on Monday 19th December, at 12.30 pm, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please, but donations, if desired, will be received on retiring from service for the Stroke Unit, Borders General Hospital.
