Norman Rule

RULE Norman Frier (Galashiels) Peacefully, on Thursday 9 May 2024 at The Margaret Kerr Unit, Norman, aged 86 years. Much loved husband of the late Eileen and dad of Alistair and Douglas, father-in-law of Margaret and the late Elizabeth and grandpa of Kirstin, Fergus, Jonathan and Emily. Beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle to the family. Lifelong member of Gala Opera and former champion of Abbotsford Bowling Club. A funeral service will take place at Borders Crematorium on Monday 20 May at 4pm, to which all friends are invited. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, may be given in aid of The Margaret Kerr Unit and Borders Macmillan Centre at the end of the service.
