SPEIRS Margaret (nee Downie) (Galashiels) Peacefully at home, with her family by her side, on 22nd August 2024, Margaret, aged 83 years, dearly beloved wife of Ron, loving mum to Alan, Lesley and Valerie, mother-in-law of Bruce and Ronnie and proud granny to Rebekka, Linzi, Hannah and Lauren. Cremation service at Borders Crematorium on Wednesday 4th September at 12.00noon, to which all friends are respectfully invited, no black ties, blue ties welcome. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, will be received on retiring from service for the District Nurses at Galashiels Health Centre.

Am so sorry to hear this sad news. Margaret was a lovely lady and will be sadly missed by many. My thoughts are with all the family at this sad time.
