DELIGHTED Gordon manager Craig Livingstone is aiming to make history after a late Kevin Utterson strike took the villagers into the Border Cup final.
Gordon have never won the trophy but now face Jed Legion after a 3-2 win at Stewart Park.
Gordon had raced into a 2-0 lead but Andy Brown was sent off with Stow converting a penalty through Grant Gass in the same incident.
Callum Gass made it 2-2 before Utterson's late strike took Gordon into the final.
Livingstone said: "We were pretty comfortable until the sending off, but the boys dug in and we got the late winner.
“It’s great to get to the cup final and the boys will be looking forward to it.”
Captain Daniel Chandler scored a last minute winner as Jed edged out Langholm Legion in the other semi-final.
Shaun Hardie was named man of the match after banging in four goals to see Gala Hotspur into the final of the Wright Cup in a 5-3 win at Earlston Rhymers.
Joe Tait was also on the scoresheet but Hardie took the plaudits for the quartet of strikes. Spurs coach Jimmy Dunbar said: “We showed plenty heart and fight to get past an Earlston team who did not give up.”
Ruaraidh Mcnaughton, Grant Wilson and David Lindsay all found the net for Tweeddale Rovers in their 3-0 win over Duns Reserves in the other semi.
Peebles Amateurs are into the Collie Cup final after edging past brave Melrose 4-3.
A double from ex-Leithen Rovers winger Peter Shearlaw helped the Kerfield side into their second final since rejoining the league last season.
They will face Newtown who defeated Hawick Legion Rovers thanks to goals from Scott Leitch, Louis Blacklock and Russell Hunter.
On the league front, Chirnside United secured a vital three points against Hawick Waverley in Division A.
The Berwickshire outfit have struggled so far this season but won 4-1 as Waverley had Steven Sharkey sent off.
Leithen Rovers poor run of form continued as they lost 5-1 to Greenlaw, with Shane Bonnington capping a man of the match performance with a goal for Lawrie Dunn’s side.
Also in Division A, West Barns Star beat Hawick Legion.
Division B saw Eyemouth Amateurs and Coldstream Amateurs take a point each in their Berwickshire derby.
In Division C, Lauder’s Jordan Steele scored four goals in his team’s 5-2 win at Kelso Thistle.
Manager Kenny Donaldson said: “It was our best performance yet and I think we can kick on and make an impact now.”
Selkirk Victoria and Biggar United also won in the remaining Division C games.
