A KELSO micropub has created the world's first haggis gin.
Rutherfords will launch their new spirit on Burns night during their special 'Burns Lite' event.
The launch will see the gin piped in by local piper Sandy Devers before it is addressed by Jesse Rae, who will be in full regalia for the occasion.
The CAMRA Borders Pub of the Year started producing their own gins in October 2017.
Owners Debbie and Simon Rutherford said: "We scoured lots of recipes for traditional haggis, and narrowed it down to the key spices which give the unique flavour.
"Then we set about experimenting until we came up with a unique, and very tasty, Scottish alternative to whisky.
"Our full-strength (37.5% ABV) Haggis gin is totally vegan, gluten free, meat free and utterly delicious when served with tonic.
"We can guarantee that no haggis, or any other animal, was harmed in the making."
The new gin will be available to buy from Rutherfords Micropub and online at deliquescent.co.uk. A 50cl bottle costs £24.
