COCKER spaniel Mabel was deemed to look most like her owner – five-year-old Sophie Murphy at Traquair House's Dogs' Day Out event at the weekend.

Sophie and Mabel, from Stow took first prize, while Sue Steel, a dog walker of Romanno Bridge near West Linton, and her pet Briard, five-year-old, Barney came second.

Now in it’s fourth year, A Dogs' Day Out unites dog lovers and owners from across the Borders for a day of canine fun, including competitions and displays.
