Now's your chance to see all of the entries in our fantastic new-look Pets Factor competition!
Proud pet owners from across the Scottish Borders have sent in pictures of their perfect pets and in next week's paper (Wednesday, August 7) we’re featuring all of those who are competing for the title and the £300 cash prize.
And this year we've joined forces with our friends at Border Vets to make our competition bigger and better than ever.
The vets practice, which has branches at Innerleithen, Galashiels and Selkirk, have given us goody bags worth £150 for the winner, £100 for the runner-up and £50 for the third placed pet.
The aim at Border Vets is to help your pet live a long, happy and healthy life.
Visit bordervets.co.uk for details of their Pet Health Plans, dental staging and x-rays, eVets 24 hour pet care and Nurse clinics.
The winner of this year's Pets Factor will be decided by you, our readers.
You'll find the first voting token on the inside back page of next week's paper, so make sure you get voting now.
We'll print tokens every week and our first round of voting will last until noon on August 16, 2019. Remember you can enclose multiple tokens in one envelope to save on postage!
We'll then count all the votes to whittle down the entries to our top 50 which we'll publish on August 23.
Then you'll have until noon on September 6 to get your votes in to keep your favourite pet in the running as we'll then cut it down to our top 25 which we'll publish on September 13.
Keep voting until noon on September 27 to ensure your top choice makes it into the top 10 which we'll publish on October 4.
You’ll then have until noon on October 18 to vote for your winner and we’ll announce details shortly after then.
Don't miss out – see next week's paper for details.
