BUSY Bees nursery are celebrating after receiving a glowing report following its latest Care Inspectorate.
Based in Melrose, the nursery was inspected by Care Inspectorate on May 30 this year and are proud to announce they have received a Grade 5 rating.
On the day, the inspector was happy that all the children's needs were being fully met and their wellbeing looked after, with all individual areas rated as “Very good”.
This included meeting the needs of the range of quality of care and support, quality of environment, staffing and management and leadership.
Care Inspectorate praised the nurseries care and support, noting that “Children enjoyed an enriching learning environment indoors and outdoors”.
Busy Bees staff team were also praised for being “committed” with Care Inspectorate going on to say: “Staff demonstrated their commitment to achieve ongoing improvements.
“All staff demonstrated their understanding of children's individual needs and all children were offered a comfortable, stimulating and nurturing experience”
Nursery parent feedback was given a special mention as Care Inspectorate recognised thirteen questionnaires returned from guardians.
One of which stated: “The level of care is excellent, there are a couple of members of staff who go above and beyond every day for the children and their efforts in both the caring for the children and the environment they provide are really to be commended.
“We are really happy with the whole service that Busy Bees provides and when our second child is old enough to go, they will also go here.”
Laura, Busy Bees nursery manager commented: “I am so happy the hard work and dedication my staff team have put into our children’s care and learning environments has been recognised.
“Our children are at the centre of everything we do, and we know at Busy Bees Melrose they really are getting the best start in life.
“I could not be prouder of my team and our beautiful setting."
