BORDERS Railway services have been cancelled between Tweedbank and Gorebridge after a bus crashed onto the tracks near Galashiels station.
It happened at around 8.30pm.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time.
Emergency services are currently on the scene.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “One person was checked over at the scene by Scottish Ambulance service but did not require to go to hospital.
“The railway line is currently closed and replacement bus services are being arranged by Scotrail.
“Officers remain in attendance and enquiries are ongoing.”
