MORE than £5,000 worth of drugs have been recovered in two separate raids in the Borders.
Last Tuesday officers from the Community Action Team swooped on a property in Peebles.
As well as seizing more than £3,500 worth of Class A and Class B drugs, they also recovered £200 in cash.
A man and a woman have been charged with drug-dealing offences and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal's office.
On Sunday the Community Action Team officers served an arrest warrant on a man in Hawick - and also recovered drugs with a street value of around £2,800.
They also seized £900 in cash.
The man is due to appear at court this week.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: "If you have any information in relation to drugs misuse in your community call us on 101 or anonymously through Crimestoppers 0800 555 111."
