A DVD about the Borders Railway has been released to coincide with its fifth anniversary.
The film covers the history of the line and features ‘live’ footage from the cab.
It was put together by local journalist Stuart Cameron, working alongside the Campaign for Borders Rail chairman Simon Walton.
Mr Cameron said: “It’s good to celebrate the fact that the Borders has a railway again after so many years [the Waverley Line closed in 1969], but also to take stock and look to the future for more improvements.”

The DVD features interviews with figures including Scottish transport minister Michael Matheson; Stuart Farrell, from Selkirk, the driver of the first passenger train on the line; and the managing director of Scotland’s Railway, Alex Hynes.
Mr Walton said: “The pandemic stopped our five-year anniversary celebrations.
“We had in mind a huge public celebration to rival the Royal opening, but we changed that to a fantastic celebration by camera.
“Borders Railway Five Years On is a real lasting souvenir and something that involves everybody who cares for the railway, the Borders and the community at large.
“The inclusion of a cab ride is an added bonus.”
The DVD is available online and by mail order.
