ELEVEN new cases of coronavirus have been recorded in the Borders in the last 24 hours.
The latest update from Scottish Government was given at 2pm today (Tuesday, October 20).
Across Scotland in the last 24 hours, there have been 1,456 new cases and 15 deaths of people who tested positive in the last 28 days.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said that due to a delay in national test results on Sunday, today's test numbers are higher than usual.
Since the pandemic began, there have been 49,164 positive cases in Scotland.
The total number of deaths nationally is now 2,625.
In the Borders, five people remain in hospital with coronavirus.
