A BORDERS man has been jailed for eight months after being involved in a disturbance.
Paul Hunter, 21, of Maxmill Park, Kelso, pleaded guilty to uttering threats of violence towards a man and a woman at a house in Duns Road, Coldstream, on September 9, and then repeatedly attempting to punch the man.
Jedburgh Sheriff Court heard he then behaved in a threatening and abusive manner in a police vehicle and at Borders General Hospital, Melrose, and uttered homophobic and threatening remarks towards four police officers.
