AN ENTIRE class at a Borders school has been forced to self-isolate following a coronavirus case.
On Sunday (November 29), parents of pupils in the P2/P3 composite class at Knowepark Primary School, Selkirk, were informed of a positive case at the school.
The NHS Test and Protect team identified the whole class as being in close contact with the case, and all pupils were therefore required to self-isolate.
A spokesperson for Scottish Borders Council (SBC) said that three other schools in the Borders have also reported cases recently.

Hawick High School and Galashiels Academy have each announced a single case, while Ayton Primary School has "a small number of cases", according to the spokesperson.
The spokesperson said cases associated with Ayton Primary School have "implications for a number of individuals within the school".
"Currently no [Ayton] pupils [are] required to self-isolate," the spokesperson added.
Parents at Hawick High School and Galashiels Academy were informed of cases on November 27, and parents of children at Ayton Primary School were told about cases on November 30.
