TWO people died in the Borders last week with coronavirus mentioned on their death certificate.
The deaths were recorded between November 23 and November 29.
The new figures were published today (Wednesday, December 2) by the National Records of Scotland.
A total of 86 people in the region have now had the virus mentioned on their death certificate since March.
Nationally, Scotland has recorded 5,634 deaths relating to COVID-19.
