THE Borders has recorded seven cases of coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the overall figure since March to 1,007.
The Scottish Government published updated statistics at 2pm today (December 3).
There are currently 11 people in hospital in the Borders after positive tests. Yesterday's number was 10.
Nationally, a further 958 people have tested positive. This brings Scotland's total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 97,720.
Across Scotland, 51 people who tested positive have died in the last 24 hours.
Scotland has now registered 3,848 deaths with COVID-19 on the death certificate.
