POLICE seized alcohol from youngsters in two Borders towns at the weekend.
Officers have stepped up their patrols across the region following reports of anti-social behaviour.
And last weekend they confiscated alcoholic drinks from youths in Peebles and Kelso.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Despite recent efforts by the Scottish Borders Community Action Team and the local community policing teams, we continue to find youths with large quantities of alcohol.
"The festive season will be different for us all this year and we appreciate this is a difficult time for everyone.
"We ask that everyone plays their part and respects the current government guidelines over the festive period and most importantly #StaySafe
"The sale or supply of alcohol to those under the age of 18 is a criminal offence which can result in a fine and/or going to jail."
