ANIMAL lovers in the Borders have a chance to win a share of £650 - as we launch our hunt to find the region’s cutest pet.

The Border Telegraph and the Peeblesshire News are now inviting entries for ‘Perfect Pet 2021’.

To enter, you simply have to fill out this form, making sure you include a picture of your pet. Entries close at 10am on Friday, March 5.

After that, a voting slip will be printed in both newspapers every week - and readers will have the chance to vote for their favourite pet.

You can vote as many times as you like - and the most votes wins.

The first-place prize is £500; second place gets £100; and third will receive £50.
