THE Borders recorded 24 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, according to Scottish Government statistics.
Figures published at 2pm today (Monday, February 22) show the increase between Friday and today.
The region has now recorded 2,790 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.
There are currently seven people with coronavirus in hospital, with fewer than five in the intensive care unit (ICU).
A total of 2,345 people have tested positive for the virus in the past 24 hours across Scotland.
