AN INTERACTIVE map shows the Borders areas that have recorded the fewest coronavirus cases in recent days.
The Public Health Scotland tool shows the number of new cases of COVID-19 per 100,000 that an area has had over a seven-day period.
The latest figures – as at 3.50pm on March 2 – show the period between February 21 and February 27.

The data shows that the majority of areas in the Borders recorded fewer than three positive cases during that period.
Those areas include: Galashiels West; Galashiels South; Galashiels North; Jedburgh; Kelso North; Kelso South; Tweeddale West; Tweeddale North; Peebles South; and Peebles North.
Only two of the 30 Borders neighbourhoods recorded three or more cases of COVID-19 in the seven-day period, according to the figures.
Both 'Newtown St Boswells and Newtown Area' and 'Chirnside and Area' had three cases during that time – a rate of 79 and 75.7 per 100,000 respectively.
