A GALASHIELS woman who admitted two drink-driving offences in the space of five months has been banned from the road for three years at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
Petra Egan, 60, was more than four times the legal drink-drive limit after visiting the Borders General Hospital on the morning of October 25.
Last month police stopped her in Scott Crescent, Galashiels, and she gave a breath/alcohol reading of 85 microgrammes - the legal limit being 22.
In addition to the disqualification, she was ordered to carry out 130 hours of unpaid work.
Sheriff Peter Paterson warned her that if there was a further offence she would be facing custody.
