THE Borders recorded one case of coronavirus over the weekend, according to the most recent figures.
Updated COVID-19 case data is published each weekday by the Scottish Government at 2pm.
And the latest figures show the Borders has now recorded 2,884 positive cases of the virus since the pandemic began.
There have been 225,346 cases in Scotland since March last year, the new data shows.
According to the latest figures, there are still fewer than five people in hospital with the virus in the Borders.
