A BORDERS man who caused a disturbance at a house at 3.30am has been fined a total of £350 at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Ian Atkinson, 45, of Newtown St Boswells, pleaded guilty to the offence which happened in the village on February 11.
The court was told that Atkinson was looking for his partner and went to the home of a couple thinking she was there but she wasn't.

Miriam Clark, prosecuting, said: "He was banging on the door demanding entry into the house but this request was refused.
"He tried to open a window and kept shouting his partner's name.
"He returned to the house on four occasions between 3.30am and 4.55am and shouting to be let in.
"The man in the house told him to leave each time as he was not welcome.
"Eventually the man called the police.

"Officers arrived at the accused's home around 6.15am and after gaining entry saw an air weapon which Atkinson did not have a certificate for."
Atkinson also admitted shouting and swearing at Hawick Police Station and acting in an aggressive manner towards police officers.
And he breached an undertaking by sending phone messages to the couple when he was not supposed to contact them.
In addition to the fines Atkinson was ordered to pay a £20 victim surcharge.
