A 22-YEAR-OLD man has admitted attacking a pensioner in his Borders home.
Jared Taylor pleaded guilty at Selkirk Sheriff Court to repeatedly punching the 67-year-old man on the body to his injury at a house in Summerfield, Earlston, on November 16, 2019.
He also admitted threatening or abusive behaviour, possession of a bladed article and failing to comply with an undertaking.
Sentence was deferred until July 26 for the production of background reports.
