AN appeal has been launched after two men were assaulted in the Borders.
Police say the incident happened near the Cuddy Bridge in Peebles at around 5pm on Wednesday (June 30).
Officers report that two men, aged 46 and 55, were assaulted by a male who left the area on a pedal bike in the direction of Greenside.
The suspect is described as being a white man, with dark hair, wearing a white long-sleeved top, denim jeans shorts and black trainers.
Constable Jake Gibson said: “We’re appealing for anyone with information on this incident to come forward.
"We’re particularly interested in speaking with anyone who saw a man with a pedal bike in the Old Town or Greenside area yesterday afternoon or evening."
