THE Borders recorded 47 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, latest figures show.
At 2pm today (August 2), the Scottish Government published updated statistics on cases.
And the latest figures show the Borders has now seen 4,446 cases of COVID-19 since March last year.

There are fewer than five people currently in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of the virus, according to the new data.
Scotland has now recorded 347,005 cases of coronavirus, the latest figures show.
