TWO motorcyclists have been taken to hospital following a crash on a Borders road.
Police say the incident happened on the A7, just outside of Galashiels at around 4.40pm yesterday (Saturday).
The road was closed for more than six hours following the crash.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of a crash involving two motorcycles on the A7 near Galashiels around 4.40pm on Saturday, August 7.
"The incident happened near the junction with the unclassified road to Buckholm.
"The two male motorcyclists were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment to their injuries and the road reopened around 11pm."
