A CAR has been broken into in a Borders village, according to police.
And officers say items were taken from within the vehicle.
Police are appealing for information about the incident which happened in the car park in Carlops on Saturday (September 18) at around 4.50pm.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A blue Volvo XC70 was broken into and items were taken from within.
“If you were in the area around that time and saw or heard anything suspicious or you have dashcam footage please contact us via 101 quoting incident number 1663 of September 18.
“Alternatively you can give information completely anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or http://ow.ly/M2Xg50GcNqS”
