A 43-YEAR-OLD man who admitted two assaults on his wife has been ordered to carry out 200 hours unpaid work at Selkirk Sheriff Court.
The assaults happened at their home in Melrose on July 26.
Darren Johnston, who gave a bail address in Edinburgh Road, Peebles, pleaded guilty to the offences.
