THE Borders recorded more than 60 new cases of coronavirus over the weekend, figures show.
According to Scottish Government data released at 2pm today (Monday, September 27) since Friday (September 24) the number of positive cases in the Borders rose by 69 from 7,308 to 7,377.
The number of people in hospital in the Borders with confirmed COVID-19 currently stands at 12 – one fewer than on Friday.

Since March 2020 Scotland has recorded 557,970 cases of COVID-19.
And nationally there are currently 1,023 people in hospital with recently confirmed cases of coronavirus.
