MOORFOOT runner Kieran Fulton represented Scotland last Sunday in the under-15 boys London Mini-Marathon.
The event was billed as the British Athletics Road Championships.
Teams of six from Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and nine regions of England raced over the final 2.6km of the marathon route.
Kieran, from Peebles. finished a fantastic 16th place in 8 minutes 13 seconds and was the fourth counter for Scotland who took team gold and the title of British champions.
Only the top five finishers dipped under the eight-minute barrier – three of them being Kieran's Scotland team-mates.

"Running past Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and up The Mall being cheered on by the crowds was amazing."
