FOLLOWING an amber weather warning for "heavy rain" across the Borders yesterday (October 27), Borderers woke this morning to reports of flooding and closed roads.
The warning, issued by the Met Office, was in place from 9pm last night until 9am this morning, with a further yellow warning for rain given until 6pm tonight.
Due to flooding some roads in the Borders have been forced to close, these include:
- A701 between B7059 West Linton and Leadburn
- B709 Granites, Innerleithen
- B712 Stobo/Dawyck
