THE driver of an overturned lorry has been taken to Borders General Hospital with a “serious injury”, say police.
Officers say they were called to reports of the vehicle on the A7 near Crude Hill in the early hours of Friday morning (November 12).
The driver, in his twenties, was taken to hospital.

The road has been closed to recover the vehicle, according to police.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were called to the A7 near Crude Hill around 3.15am on Friday, 12 November, following a report of an overturned artic lorry.
“The driver, in his twenties, was taken to Borders General Hospital with a serious injury.
“The road has been closed to facilitate recovery of the vehicle and officers continue to liaise with the relevant partner agencies.”
