SCOTTISH Borders Council has revealed the roads set to be closed across the region on Remembrance Sunday (November 14).
Towns and villages across the Borders will hold services and parades to remember those who have died in conflict.
The closures announced by the council will only come into effect “at such times when under the instruction of a police officer in uniform or at such times when appropriate signage is in place”.
The following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic at the times specified:
Eyemouth - from 3.15pm to 4pm
• High Street – from Home Street to Armatage Street
Coldstream – 10.40am to 11.15am
• High Street – from Henderson Park to War Memorial
Walkerburn – between the hours of 10.15am and 11.15am
• A72 Galashiels Road – from Hall Street to Jubilee Road
Duns – between the hours of 10.15am and 1pm
• Langtongate
• South Street
• The Square
• Currie Street
• Station Road
• Boston Court
Galashiels – between the hours of 12pm and 1.30pm
• Park Street
• Channel Street
• Market Street
• Cornmill Square
• Bank Street
• High Street
Kelso – between the hours of 10.30am and 11.30am
• The Square
• Bridge Street
• Roxburgh Street
Selkirk – between the hours of 10.15am and 11.45am
• The Valley
• West Port – from The Valley to Market Place
• Market Place – from West Port to High Street
• High Street
• Ettrick Terrace – from Market Place to The Valley
Parking will be prohibited on the following roads between the hours of 10.15am and 11.45am

• Market Place – from West Port to High Street

• Ettrick Terrace – from Market Place to The Valley
Lauder – between the hours of 10.30am and 11.30am
• The Avenue
• West High Street (A68)
• Stow Road – At its junction with West High Street

• Mid Row – from Market Place to Mill Wynd
St Boswells – between the hours of 10.50am and 11.15am
• A68 – at St Boswells War Memorial
Kirkurd – between the hours of 10.30am and 10.45am
• A72 – at its junction with the C5 south of Blythe Bridge
Ancrum - between the hours of 10.40am and 11.20am
• B6400 – from the Village Green to Myrescroft
• Village Green – East leg to B6400
Jedburgh – between the hours of 10.30am and 12.30am
• High Street
• Market Place
• Abbey Place
• Abbey Bridge End
