BACKGROUND reports have been ordered into two Borders men following a raid on a Borders clothing store.
Thirty-year-old Andrew Clamp, of Hawick, pleaded guilty to a charge of theft by housebreaking at the premises of David Thomson & Son outfitters in High Street, Jedburgh, on November 6, 2020.
He also admitted the theft of a vehicle.
Co-accused Scott Shearman, 49, pleaded guilty to the reset of shirts, jumpers, coats and jeans stolen from the shop which were found at his home in Howdenbank, Hawick, on November 8.
He also admitted obstructing police and instructing his dog to attack a police officer.

Jedburgh Sheriff Court was told that the dog bit Shearman on his arm instead.
The court also heard that £2,233 worth of clothing was stolen in the Jedburgh shop raid with £323 worth of clothing recovered.
Sentence was deferred until February 14 for the production of a Criminal Justice Social Work Report.
Clamp also admitted assaulting two men with a metal pole on August 17 last year in Wellfield Road, Hawick. He pleaded guilty to charges of assault to injury and assault to severe injury.
Clamp is remanded in custody in this case and will be sentenced on February 14.
