THE majority of affected roads in the Borders have now been cleared after two storms hit the region, according to the council.
Storms Malik and Corrie caused a number of routes to close over the weekend.
Here are the roads that are still impacted, according to the latest update from Scottish Borders Council (SBC):
Berwickshire
- A1 between National Border and East Lothian at Cockburnspath/Torness: route affected due to fallen power lines
- Berryhill junction with A6112: closed due to fallen trees
Cheviot
- Hume Village: road closed due to fallen tree
Eildon
- A68 Soutra Hill: HGV overturned, passable with care
- A68 Earlston: trees blocking in both directions, passable with care
- A68 Trabrown, north of Lauder: one lane blocked, passable with care
- A708 Selkirk and St Mary's Loch at Yarrowford: road closed due to tree on power line
- C77 Lauder to Galashiels at Threepwood: passable with care
Tweeddale
- Courthouse to Cuddy Bridge, Peebles: tree down over footpath, passable with care
Teviot and Liddesdale
- Minto to Ancrum: passable with care
Meanwhile, a small number of properties remained without power overnight.
According to Scottish Power Energy Networks (SPEN), power has now been restored in many locations across the region.
Outages are still impacting houses east of Selkirk, north of Newcastleton and south-east of Coldstream, an interactive SPEN map shows.
