A SEX offender who breached a court order has been jailed for 12 months at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Fifty-nine-year-old Alan Palmer from Hawick purchased a second hand tablet and accessed the internet but failed to disclose it.
Sheriff Peter Paterson said it was the second breach of his Sexual Offences Prevention Order and it had been a deliberate act.
