THE Borders has recorded more than 23,000 cases of coronavirus since the start of the pandemic.
And the region recorded 157 new cases of COVID-19 in the last day, according to new figures.
Scottish Government data was published at 2pm today (March 4).
And the updated statistics show that the Borders has now recorded 23,019 cases of COVID-19 since March 2020.
There are 18 people in hospital in the region – one more than yesterday.
Scotland has seen 1,485,872 cases since the start of the pandemic, according to the figures.
