THE Borders has recorded 246 new cases of coronavirus in the last day, according to new figures.
Scottish Government data was published at 2pm today (March 8).
And the updated statistics show that the Borders has now recorded 23,736 cases of COVID-19 since March 2020.
There are 21 people in hospital in the region – one more than yesterday.
Scotland has seen 1,521,797 cases since the start of the pandemic, according to the figures.
