AFTER a technical fault saw no coronavirus cases recorded in Scotland over the weekend, a new case update has been issued.
According to data from Public Health Scotland and the Scottish Government, between March 12 and today (March 15) the Borders recorded 924 cases of COVID-19.
Yesterday the body announced that a technical issue meant that no cases were recorded over the weekend.
However, these missing cases have now been included in today's update.
Since the start of the pandemic the Borders has recorded 25,793 cases of coronavirus.
And there are 45 people in hospital in the Borders with recently confirmed cases of the virus – three more than yesterday.
Nationally, Scotland has recorded 1,622,345 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
